Stamping

Polymer Plainfield Companies has three dedicated stamping facilities strategically located across the United States to support our internal molding divisions and external customer requirements.

Our design and engineering team work with customers on both design for manufacturability and design for assembly. Tooling can then be built internally or sourced globally depending upon customer requirements and program lead-times.

To ensure quality and prolong tooling life many of our multi-station progressive stamping dies are outfitted with electronic beam or proximity sensors allowing for real time process monitoring an invaluable tool when the press is running more than 1,000 strokes per minute.

Fast, effective and innovative the stamping divisions of Polymer Plainfield Companies have been the foundation of our organization for more than forty-five years let us show you how quality and innovation blend one stroke at a time.

Multi-Slide

Polymer Plainfield Companies' Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin division is a world leader in the design, development and production of multi-slide components for customer applications in a variety of industries.

Multi-slide components running at up to 200 strokes per minute generate less scrap than traditional metal stamping and require shorter tool build lead times ultimately, reducing both tooling and piece cost, while speeding time to market.

The multi-slide manufacturing process allows us to achieve part configurations not attainable by traditional metal stamping. Our design and engineering teams are available to explain the many advantages of the multi-slide manufacturing process and to work on concept and production applications.

The multi-slide manufacturing process yet another leading class technology from the Polymer Plainfield Group of Companies.
